As a wedding planner I have seen many sweetie tables, and to me, the key to a beautiful looking one that guests actually enjoy as well, is to have quantity and quality.
I often find brides wanting to have candy bars but don’t want to spend a fortune on them, in my experience I would rather scrap the idea entirely than go for a half hearted buffet filled with cheap sweets and candy. Rather go all out and have the “wow” factor if you want to have one, blow guests away with your presentation and personalised touches.
Ask friends and family to help by making homemade fudge, coconut ice and biscuits with initials. Find sweets in your colour theme if you are wanting to keep it all the same, alternatively, you can also go for a fun theme park theme with multi coloured sweets.
Once again, I cannot stress how important it is to have quality sweets.....
I love how this candy bar table that The Boutique Baking Company did for Laura and Lee’s wedding. The table they had their display on tied in so nicely with the feel of the candy bar and the display items were carefully picked as well.
Thanks to The Boutique Baking Company for sharing this candy bar with us!
