Bianca1 When our parents got married it was taboo to ask for any kind of gift on your wedding invitation, let alone for money!

Nowadays it is acceptable to ask for a gift by putting your chosen gift registries details on the invitation or even getting poetic by inserting a poem indicating your preference for cash as a gift. This has become more and more popular.

HOWEVER

Using an online gift registry solves the problem of having to use more than one registry and avoid duplication, or by inserting a poem that can be well frowned upon. This stunning website The Gift Regsitry

offers the bride the choice of adding many household items, some usual and others unusual, but also gives you the choice of opting for cash and honeymoon vouchers whereby guests can purchase a "voucher" and in essence give you money. This will make them feel better seeing that they didn't physically give you cash, but gave you a voucher instead.

This website is easy to navigate and understand - it's a free service and therefore you don't pay to register you and your fiance's wedding registry.
Check it out and give me some feedback on whether you think this type of registry is viable and if you would make use of it.
